FAQs - Big Foot Buggy Tours

Are you insured?

Yes- we are fully insured with both public liability, 3rd party insurance and all the buggies are legally insured and we are fully licensed.

Do you supply food?

No- but we do supply water on all the tours and complimentary soft drinks on the 2 and 3 hour tours.

What will I need to bring with me?

Drivers all need to show us a valid full driving license, full address and contact details.
In winter bring warm clothing, in summer bring sunscreen and a hat.
Goggles and bandanas will be provided free of charge.
Please wear closed toed shoes. Flip-flops and high heels are not permitted.
Don’t forget your camera!
Please don’t wear your best clothes- you’re going to get dusty!

How do I pay?

Cash or Card on arrival, Deposits required for certain tours

Are there any age restrictions?

Drivers must be over 18, hold a valid full driving license and passengers must be over 4 years of age.

This was amazing, so much fun the tour guides were excellent, so much local knowledge. Got loads of pictures and videos of us great experience. We did the 1 hour tour but would recommend 2 hours. Will be back again, thanks a million 😊

  Brilliant 2hr Tour!
Booked 2 buggy’s for the 2hr buggy tour for myself, hubby, daughter and son-in-law. Had a brilliant time and buggy’s very comfortable with extremely good suspension. Stopped half way round for drinks/loo stop, but the men in particular really enjoyed the off-road driving. Looking forward to returning for the 3hr tour.

Just excellent. If you like driving, road trips or adrenaline filled adventures then this is for you. I thought 2 hours might be quite a long time but it flew past and I loved every single minute. Activities in this area are so reasonably priced and as with my last review I stand by the fact they could charge a bit more. I found it ok but it’s quite out the way so I’d suggest pre booking transport to get you there otherwise it’s accessible via public transport as long as you have Google maps or something. Water and other items needed are provided, excellent knowledge of the local area and some great facts including the one about the large amount of golf courses spread around! Over 40 of them!!   What a Blast, so much fun!!
Brilliant afternoon spent with Bigfoot Tours...my son (17) and I had a blast. Excellent experience! We would advise taking the 3 hour tour as you really get to see so much of the beautiful countryside in the Mijas area and have a lot of fun in the buggies on the gravel roads. You will get dusty, just how much depends on the size of the group and how much fun you make of it ;-) Everything was really organised, from the greeting, safety briefing, the tour - our guide Alex was outstanding, regularly checking our safety and pointing out any points of interest - and the refreshing soft drink at the end. Highly recommended to anyone, from young families - they have a 4-seater buggy - to older ones

  Second visit even better than the first !
This was our second visit to Bigfoot and like the first it was an excellent experience! Taking the 3 hour tour let's you see much more of the beautiful countryside and to really get a feel for the impressive buggies. Everything is taken care of and the guide was exceptional always checking our safely and pointing out key landmarks and items of interest. Highly recommended

  Excellent Buggy adventure day
Exhilarating adventure with Big Foot buggy tours yesterday up into the beautiful Mijas mountain area. The buggy was really comfortable, easy to drive, powerful with great traction. Our guide took us through the stunning countryside and dry river beds up to some incredible vantage points to appreciate the views you wouldn’t normally get to experience. Alex was informative, friendly and great company on our trip, pointing out and explaining the terrain and history of the areas. We are in our 60’s and I was concerned this might be for the younger generation but we both loved it and will return next year to try one of the other routes. We were provided with water, goggles and a bandana which worked perfectly well when we drove through any dusty areas. Highly recommend.

  Fun way to explore the area
We came as an adult family of 4 for the 2 hour buggy tour - there was also another group of 2 - so a total of 6, split between 3 buggies. We were welcomed by Karen and Alex who were both very friendly and chatty throughout the experience. First getting us kitted up - goggles and a bandana for the dust. And then a short briefing. The buggies were great fun - even more so becuase there had been some rain the day before, so plenty of opportunities to splash through the muddy puddles. The two hours went by quickly and was a great way to spend a warm winter afternoon. Would definitely recommend!

  Awesome tour with great views and high quality branded buggy's
Very nice views, we made some nice pictures and videos. Owners and guides are super friendly and really know their stuff. The buggy's were looking very neat and very well maintained, they are high quality buggy's from a great brand. We will definitely come back to have a buggy tour with Bigfoot buggy tours!
